立德路，留仙洞园区正门内首条主干道，东抵锦园学生公寓，中经溪湖、明德楼，西至同德楼、体育馆。其名源于《左传》“三不朽”之“太上有立德”，以“德”为育人根基与人生至高境界，恰与学校德业兼修之理念相呼应。取此名，寓意育才先育德，成才先成人。
Lide Road is the main road along the southern perimeter by the main gate inthe Xili Campus(Liuxiandong Area). It extends east to the Jinyuan Student Residential Complex, passing through Xihu Lake, Mingde Building, and west of the Tongde Building and gymnasium. Its nameLide (“Establishing Virtue”), comes from the concept of the Three Imperishables in Zuo Tradition:“The highest virtue is to establish virtue.”Here,“virtue”is taken as the foundation of education and the ultimate realm of life, perfectly echoing the University’s philosophy of simultaneously cultivating virtue and professional skills. The name implies that nurturing talent should begin with cultivating virtue, and achieving success should begin with becoming a completeperson.
