德业楼，2004年建成，留仙洞园区主教学楼之一。其名取自《周易》“君子进德修业”，与校训“德业并进、自强不息”精神一脉相承，彰显修身与功业并重之教旨。自“以德立人、以用立业、以特立校”之创校初心，到“德业并进、学思并举、脑手并用”之育人思想，学校始终持守德业兼修之传统。以此为名，意在勉励学子以德驭才、以业砺行，于知行合一中成就人格与技能的双重升华。
The Deye Building, completed in 2004, is one of the main teaching buildings in thethe Xili Campus (Liuxiandong Area). Its name is derived froma phrase in the I Ching:“The Superior person advances in virtue and cultivate his undertakings”, echoing the spirit of the University motto“Advance in Virtue, Strive with Strength.”Both phrase and motto highlight the educational principle of balancing moral cultivation with professional achievements. From the founding intention of“establishing people with virtue, establishing careers with practice, establishing the University with uniqueness”to the educational philosophy of“advanceinboth virtue and profession, integrate learning and thinking, and combine intellect with hands-on skills,”the University has always upheld the tradition of cultivating both morality and professional skills. The name“Deye”aims to encourage students to govern talent with virtue and temper practice with work, achieving dual growth in character and abilities through the unity of knowledge and action.
