“群英谱”雕塑，2011年建成，立于西丽湖园区厚德楼前，由当时设计学部张正星等教师倾力打造。作品以叠阶为基，十方体块斜向交撑、层叠相承，喻指学校初创后步履拾阶、逐年向上的征程。基座之上铸可转动的不锈钢球体，态势如升，喻指学校事业如旭日之升，展现出开拓新境、更上层楼的蓬勃之势。球面镌刻建校前十年入职教职工姓名，以金石铭记拓荒之勋；亦留大片空白待后来者续，承载着事业薪传不息、胸怀致远的初心与志向。
The SZPU Exemplars Gallery Sculpture was completed in 2011 and stands in front of Houde Building in Xili Campus(Xili Lake Area).It was created by Zhang Zhengxing and other faculty members from the then Department of Design. The base iscomposedof ten blocks, intersecting diagonally and layered on top of each other, symbolizing the University’s steady ascentsince its founding.Atopthe base is a rotating stainless-steel sphere, poised like the morning sun, evoking the University’s growth and momentum toward new frontiers.Engraved on the surface of the sphereare thenames of faculty members and staff from the University’s first decade, commemorating their pioneering achievements. A large swath of space awaits future contributors, carrying the original aspiration and ambition of passing the torch tirelessly and marching towards the horizon.
