溪湖浮雕墙，2008年落成，依北岸而筑。由当时艺术设计学院青年教师方晖设计、并带领学生制作而成。九幅浮雕以四方桥为中轴，分列东西，犹如展开一幅与时空对话的无声长卷。作品以厚重的青铜材质制作，其间甲骨文字、自然图案与吉祥纹样相映成章，暗合“观乎人文，以化成天下”之古训，既寄寓学子前程似锦、学校桃李满天下之愿景，又蕴含对和谐社会与民族创造力的书写。师生行经栈桥，目及此卷，于俯仰之间静观文化源流之深远、文明传续之脉络，心契往昔，思接千载。
The Xihu Lake Relief Wall was completed in 2008 along the north bank of Xihu Lake.It was designed by Fang Hui, a young faculty member at the then Art and Design Institute, and produced by the students. The nine reliefs panels move from east to west with Sifang Bridge at the heart. It unfolds like a silent scrollin dialogue withspace and time. Cast in bronze, the work features oracle bone script, natural motifs, and auspicious patterns that complement each other, subtly reflecting the ancient proverb:“By observing human culture, one may help shape and transform the world.”The artwork conveys hope for a promising future for students and for the University to nurture talent far and wide. As faculty and students walk along the relief wall and set eyes on the scroll, they can quietly contemplate the profundity of cultural origins and the continuity of civilization by connecting with the past, and thinking across millennia.
