浑天仪雕塑，2013年锻成，位于留仙洞园区正门入口处。形制承续古代浑仪之法，以现代工艺锻造而成。其形运转如环，其意生生不息，暗合“新故相推，日生不滞”的进取之道，彰显学校锐意改革、敢为人先的开拓创新精神。雕塑前铭刻《道德经》中“天人合一，道法自然”八字，凝练人与自然和谐共生的华夏哲思。其中“天”喻规律，“人”指践行，恰与职业教育尊重规律、注重实践的理念相契合。
Inspired by ancient armillary sphere design and forged with modern techniques in 2013, the Armillary Sphere Sculpture is located at the main entrance of Xili Campus (Liuxiandong Area). Inspired by the form of the ancient Chinese armillary sphere and crafted with modern techniques, the sculpture preserves the traditional structure while presenting it through contemporary design. Revolving rings symbolize the unceasing renewal of life and the progressive principle expressed in the saying “the new replaces the old, and each day brings fresh vitality.” It embodies the University’s pioneering spirit of reform and commitment to lead changes. Inscribed in front of the sculpture are the eight Chinese characters from the Tao Te Ching: “Harmony between humanity and nature; the Dao follows its natural course.” It encapsulates the Chinese philosophical thought of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. Here, “nature” symbolizes law, and “humanity” refers to practice. Both align well with vocational education’s philosophy of respecting rules and valuable hands-on application.
