金属圆雕塑，2022年建成，位于留仙洞园区红芯书院内。与书院前的日晷雕塑相映，共添人文雅韵。作品以传统“天圆地方”宇宙观为内核，主体与基座分别呼应“圆”之灵动与“方”之沉稳。主体呈开口环状，顶端以一隙豁然破开，使循环之态顿生开放之势，寓意学问之道既要循序积微，亦应破界通新。雕塑采用现代不锈钢材质，光华流转间纳天光云影，映往来行人，俨然“物我相融”之境；镂空部分仿若网纹，似有古窗织锦之意，虚实互映，将古今技艺共冶一炉。
The Metal Circular Sculpture, completed in 2022, is located within the Hongxin College in Xili Campus (Liuxiandong Area). It complements the sundial sculpture in front, together adding a touch of cultural elegance. The work is centered around the traditional cosmology concept of “round heaven and square earth”, with the main body and base echoing the fluidity of thecircleand the stability of thesquare, respectively. The main body is shaped like an open ring, witha narrow gap at the top that breaks the continuity, symbolizing that the pursuit of knowledge should follow gradual accumulation while remaining open to innovation and new ideas.The sculpture is made of a stainless steel mirror finish, reflecting the sky, clouds, onlookers, and everything that it sees, creating a state of harmony between the object andits surroundings. The hollowed sections resemble awoven lattice,reminiscent of traditional Chinese window designs, where solidity and emptiness interact, blending ancient craftsmanship with modern techniques, harmonizing historical artistry and contemporary design in a single work.
