校训石，2013年落成，共三方，分立西丽校区三大园区正门要冲，为师生每日必经的精神地标。石材选用质地坚硬、色泽浑厚的黄蜡石，镌刻“德业并进，自强不息”八字校训。题字者皆为各界名家，风格独具：留仙洞园区为著名红学家冯其庸题写，行笔潇洒豪放，富有书卷气息；西丽湖园区出自书法家王贺良之手，笔法朴拙灵秀，蕴含汉魏风骨；官龙山园区由深圳市原市委书记李灏所题，字体刚健沉稳，彰显实干气魄。三者笔墨虽异，却共同诠释校训的精神内核，滋养师生品格。
The University’s motto“Advance in Virtue, Strive with Strength”was immortalized in 2013 on three stones, each positioned at the main entrances of the three areas in Xili Campus. Engraved on hard, richly colored yellow wax stone, the message serves as a daily spiritual landmark for faculties and students. The inscription styles are based on renowned figures from various fields. The motto stone at Liuxiandong Campus was written by the famous Redologist Feng Qiyong,whose free, bold strokes convey a sense of scholarly elegance. The Xili Lake Campus motto stone was inscribed by calligrapher Wang Heliang, featuring simple yet refined strokes embodying the calligraphic spirit of the Han and Wei Dynasties. Guanlong Mountain Area motto bears the inscription of Li Hao, former Party Secretary of Shenzhen, with strong and steady characters reflecting practical determination.Though the styles differ, together they convey the same spiritual essence of the University motto,nurturing the character, integrity, and professional spirit of allfaculties and students.
